I will be reading from Poor Farm at 2pm on August 1st at Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum. It will be an outdoor event with lots of time for reading, discussion of local history, book-signing. The Heritage Farm is a wonderful museum which includes a working farm in the middle of Cole Harbour. I’ve brought my children here many times over the years to see the animals. The farm has also been an excellent resource for research on Poor Farm. I’m really looking forward to having this!
